Metsäliitto to sell 18.3 % of Neomarkka shares to Reka Corporation

Metsäliitto Group and Neomarkka Plc's principal owner Reka
Corporation have agreed on a transaction whereby Metsäliitto sells
1.1 million B shares of the listed company Neomarkka to Reka
Corporation. The shares account for about 18.3% of Neomarkka's shares
and about 12.7% of votes.

The purchase price is EUR 10.45 million, which equals the price of
EUR 9.50 per share. After the transaction, Metsäliitto will still
possess 105,305 B shares of Neomarkka, representing some 1.7% of
shares and 1.2% of votes. The transaction will be concluded by 18
June 2007."The sale of the Neomarkka shares is part of Metsäliitto Group's
continuing focus on its core business," says Hannu Anttila, Group
Senior Vice President, Strategy, Metsäliitto Group.

Metsäliitto books a minor gain of less than EUR one million from the
transaction.
