Lassila & Tikanoja announces change of President and CEO

The Board of Directors of Lassila & Tikanoja plc has appointed Pekka Ojanpää as
President and CEO of the company as of 13 December 2011, at the latest. The
Board of Directors and Jari Sarjo, present President and CEO, have jointly
agreed that Sarjo will leave his position as President and CEO as of today. 

Pekka Ojanpää acts as President of Kemira's Municipal & Industrial segment. He
has formerly worked as President of the Kemira Performance Chemicals business
area. Before that he held various executive positions at Nokia. 

Ville Rantala, CFO of Lassila & Tikanoja, has been appointed as acting
President and CEO as of 13 June.
