Componenta strengthens its way of operating

Componenta grew significantly in autumn 2006 when it acquired a major part the
Turkish foundry company Döktas. The Group's operations doubled in size which
created good possibilities for utilizing our resources and serving our customers
more efficiently. The integration of the operations of Componenta and Döktas has
proceeded well, and now to fully integrate Döktas into Componenta's way of
working a new company structure is being launched. 

Componenta Group is adopting a corporate wide, unified way of operating in all
business units. The current division structure of the Group remains unchanged.
Major changes have been made at Componenta Döktas and in the sales and product
development organizations. In accordance with these changes the following new
appointments have been made. All the appointments and nominations will come into
effect as from 1 October 2007.  

Appointments in corporate functions

Yaylali Günay has been appointed Senior Vice President, Investments. He will
continue as a member of the Corporate Executive Team of Componenta Group and as
a member of Componenta Döktas Board of Directors as an executive director.
Previously Yaylali Günay has been General Manager of Componenta Döktas. He
reports to President and CEO Heikki Lehtonen. 

Henk Klever has been appointed Corporate Purchasing Director. He reports to Olli
Karhunen, Senior Vice President, Foundries division. Ugur Demirci has been
nominated Deputy Purchasing Director reporting to Henk Klever.

To accelerate the process of fully exploiting production synergies, it has been
decided to form a new unit of internal sourcing as part of the corporate
business development. Hannu Jylhä, Business Development Manager, has been
appointed leader of the corporate wide internal sourcing process and the
nominated team. He reports to Marko Sipola, Senior Vice President of Business
Development. Antoine Weekers, Business Unit Director, Weert Machine shop, is a
member of the internal sourcing team and responsible for the sourcing of
machining. Ugur Baskaya is project engineer and Eddy Kremers is project manager
of internal sourcing, Kremers is responsible for the customer interface. Hannu
Jylhä is responsible for the sourcing of castings. 

Appointments in Sales and Product Development

Componenta's sales and product development will be managed in four business
areas, which extend across legal structures and geographical boundaries. Jari
Leino has been appointed Sales Director responsible for the business area Heavy
Trucks. Maurice Smits has been appointed Sales Director responsible for the
business area Off-road. Hakan Göral has been appointed Sales Director
responsible for the business area Automotive. Lauri Eklin has been appointed
Sales Director responsible for the business area Diesel & Wind. The sales in the
business area Machine building are handled locally in different countries. The
above mentioned persons report to Senior Vice President, Sales and Product
development, who will be appointed later. 

Marc Omes, currently Director of Group Sales and Product development, will leave
Componenta at the end of September. 

The Group's product development provides technical customer support and new
product development and optimizations through Customer Product Centers in
Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands and Turkey. Maurice Ruiter has been appointed
Product development manager for the business area Off-road. Seppo Paalanen and
Arne Mofjell have been appointed product development managers for the business
area Heavy trucks. Paalanen continues to lead product development operations at
the Helsinki CPC and Mofjell the corresponding activities at the Främmestad CPC.
Seyfi Degirmenci and Bulent Memisoglu have been appointed product development
managers for the business area Automotive. They also continue to head up the
local engineering activities in Orhangazi and Manisa. The product development
manager for the business area Diesel & Wind will be appointed later. 

Appointments in Döktas division

Hakan Göral has been appointed Senior Vice President of Componenta Döktas
Division and Managing Director of Componenta Döktas. He continues as a member of
the Corporate Executive Team. Hakan Göral is also in charge of Sales and Product
Development, Automotive business area. He reports to Heikki Lehtonen, President
and CEO of Componenta.

Componenta Döktas operations in the Organgazi and Manisa foundries have been
divided into two business units. Ilhan Baltaci has been appointed Business Unit
Director at the Orhangazi iron foundry. To assist Baltaci, Lüfti Erten has been
appointed Deputy Business Unit Director at the Orhangazi iron foundry. Sinan
Varol has been appointed Business Unit Director at the Manisa aluminium foundry.
Baltaci and Varol report to Hakan Göral. Faruk Coklar has been appointed
Business Unit Manager at the Orhangazi machine shop. He reports to Michael
Sjöberg, Senior Vice President, Machine shops division and in matrix to Hakan
Göral. Business Unit Director for Manisa Wheels will be appointed later. 

Sibel Binici has been appointed Division Controller. She is responsible for all
the financial activities of Döktas and reports to Hakan Göral. Atilla Ucar who
has been the Assistant General Manager (Finance), will leave as of 1 October
2007 and work as an independent consultant for the company.

The above changes and appointments form a firm foundation for the future growth
and success of Componenta. Through them we will be able to fully exploit all our
potential at Componenta and strengthen our competitiveness and cooperation with
customers so that we achieve our strategic goal.
