Sales for the III quarter of 2014

AB “Utenos Trikotažas” sales for the III quarter of 2014 amounted to LTL 17.5
million (EUR 5.1 million), i.e. 14.7% more than during the same period in 2013. 

Consolidated sales of “Utenos Trikotažas” group for the III quarter of 2014
increased by LTL 20.4 million (EUR 5.9 million), i.e. 12.2% more than during
the same period in 2013. 

AB “Utenos Trikotažas” sales for the nine-month period of 2014 reached LTL 41.2
million (EUR 11.9 million), i.e. 5.3% less than during the same period in 2013. 

Consolidated sales of “Utenos Trikotažas” group for the nine-month period of
2014 reached LTL 51.1 million (EUR 14.8 million), i.e. 1.8% less than during
the same period in 2013. 

“Investments in the development and production of new and innovative materials
- a strategy that the company has been systematically implementing in recent
years - enabled us to find new markets and partners, and to increase the sales
of “Utenos Trikotažas”. Production of wool, initiation of production of the
materials composed of wool and silk, as well as merino wool products of fine
microns is a new and growing market segment of AB “Utenos trikotažas“. It
allows the company to raise sales, while ensuring a greater corporate
profitability. The idea of online trade in the company's branded products has
surpassed expectations, i.e. online sales at www.utenostrikotazas.lt  ,
http://www.aboutwear.com are getting a considerable momentum in both the
Lithuanian and the European markets,” says Gintautas Bareika, Director General
