PUBLICATION OF THE PROSPECTUS IN CONNECTION WITH THE HONKARAKENNE OYJ SHARE     
ISSUE                                                                           

Honkarakenne Oyj publishes today a prospectus approved on 10 February 2010 by   
the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority concerning the directed issue of    
1,200,000 B shares, which was decided by the company's Board of Directors on 26 
January 2010. The share issue has already been implemented and it was entered in
the Trade Register on 4 February 2010. The sole reason for preparing the        
prospectus is to enable the company to apply for the admission of the shares    
that were subscribed for in the issue to public trading. The prospectus does not
constitute an offer or solicitation to purchase or subscribe for the company's  
shares.                                                                         

A Finnish language version of the Prospectus is available from today on the     
company's website at www.honka.fi. The prospectus is not available in printed   
format, but a printout may be obtained from the company's headquarters.         

Trading in the new shares, alongside the old B shares, is expected to begin on  
15 February 2010.
