JAAKKO LAURILA APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT (RUSSIA) AND CEO OF OOO PONSSE

JAAKKO LAURILA APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT (RUSSIA) AND CEO OF OOO PONSSE     
In his new duties, Jaakko Laurila, M.Sc (For), 37, will be responsible for      
Ponsse's business operations and the development of the sales and service       
network in Russia and CIS.    
Laurila has previously worked as Sales Director of OOO Ponsse and Export Manager
of Ponsse Plc responsible for export to Russia. Laurila joined Ponsse in 2002.  
He will start in his new role on 1 July 2008. He will report to Jarmo Vidgrén,  
Group Sales and Marketing Director, and he will be a member of the Sales        
Management Group.   
Sergej Sviridenko has been appointed Managing Director of OOO Ponsse.
