VAAHTO GROUP PLC OYJ ISSUES PROFIT WARNING

The profit of the Vaahto Group for the first half of the fiscal year 1.9.2008 -
31.8.2009 will be weaker than expected. The consolidated turnover from the
period 1.9.2008 - 28.2.2009 was appr. 32.3 million euros (41.8 million euros
from the corresponding period in the previous fiscal year) and operating loss
appr. 2.8 million euros (operating profit 0.2 million euros from the
corresponding period in the previous fiscal year). 

The results of the projects included in the Group's order book will be entered
in the accounts mainly in the latter part of the current fiscal year. The
profit for the latter half of the fiscal year is expected to be better than for
the first half, but, however, the operating profit for the whole fiscal year is
estimated to be negative. 
According to the previous announcement, Vaahto Group will issue a six-month
interim report on April 17, 2009.
