Marimekko - Changes board/management/auditors

NEW MANAGEMENT GROUP FOR MARIMEKKO

As of 1 February 2008, Mr Mika Ihamuotila takes over as new President and CEO of
Marimekko Corporation. At the same time, the Group's management group changes.  
The chairman of the new management group is Mika Ihamuotila, and the members    
include: Mr Thomas Ekström (Chief Financial Officer), Ms Marja Korkeela         
(corporate communications and IR), Ms Päivi Lonka (exports and licensing sales),
Ms Sirpa Loukamo (clothing and accessories), Ms Mervi Metsänen-Kalliovaara      
(domestic wholesale, business-to-business sales, sales development), Ms Piia    
Rossi (company-owned retail stores), Ms Kirsi Räikkönen (brand and marketing    
communications), and Ms Helinä Uotila (production, purchases, interior          
decoration).
