OP-prime Down                                                                   

On 16 December 2008, OP-Pohjola Group Central Cooperative's Executive Board     
decided to reduce OP-Pohjola Group's OP-prime reference rate from 4.25 per cent 
to 3.50 per cent, effective as of 30 December 2008. The decision is based on    
falling market interest rates. The prime rate was last revised on 9 December    
2008.
