LESTO AB - Notification on material event

Regarding the Publishing of Electricity Transportation Service and Public Electricity Prices


On 21 November 2012, National Control Commission for Prices and Energy
(“Commission“) adopted a decision to publish LESTO AB prices for electricity
transportation service and public electricity and their application procedures
effective from 1 January 2013. 

Vilnius, Lithuania, 2012-11-21 08:55 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On 21 November
2012, National Control Commission for Prices and Energy (“Commission“) adopted
a decision to publish LESTO AB prices for electricity transportation service
and public electricity and their application procedures effective from 1
January 2013. 

In addition, Commission adopted a decision to approve the methods of
differentiation of prices of electricity transportation service and public
electricity of LESTO AB. 

Due to increase of public service obligations price and change of principles of
payment for public service obligations set for in legal acts, also due to
changes of other constituent parts of electricity price for year 2013: 

• as from 1 January 2013, public electricity prices for household customers
increase by an average of 5.69 cents/kWh (including VAT) (12.8 percent); 
• as from 1 January 2013, electricity transportation service prices for
business customers that receive electricity from medium-voltage electricity
networks decrease an average  5.87 cents/kWh (VAT not included) (39.6 percent),
for those receiving from low-voltage electricity networks - 6.51 cents/kWh (VAT
not included) (29.8 percent). 

Price changes will have no significant influence on net financial result of
LESTO AB.
