Stumbras AB - Interim information

Stumbras AB interim report and result for the first six months of 2010

Stumbras AB sales in the first six months of 2010 amounted to LTL 44.62 million
(EUR 12.92 million). Production sales decreased by 16.5 % compared to LTL 53.46
million (EUR 15.48 million) in sales during the first six months of 2009. 

Stumbras AB profit before taxes in the first six months of 2010 was LTL 8.54
million (EUR 2.47 million). Profit before taxes decreased by 33.9 % compared to
LTL 12.92 million (EUR 3.74 million) in pre-tax profit during the first six
months of 2009. 

According General Manager of Stumbras AB Česlovas Matulevičius, such results
are determined by sharp rise of the alcohol moon shining business. Judging by
company's data, the share of illegal alcohol market currently is about 30 % of
all strong alcohol market. 

During six months of 2010, Stumbras AB paid LTL 65,3 million only in excise
taxes to the Lithuanian state budget.
