PANOSTAJA'S SEGMENT REPORTING TO BE RENEWED
Panostaja Oyj Stock Exchange Bulletin, 26.2.2010 10:30 AM PANOSTAJA'S SEGMENT REPORTING TO BE RENEWED As of the financial period 1 November 2009 - 31 October 2010, starting with the first-quarter review, the business operations of Panostaja Group shall be reported in fourteen segments, which are: digital printing services, safety, HEPAC wholesale, Takoma, added-value logistics, spare parts for motor vehicles, heat treatment, mounts, fixtures, supports, carpentry industry, environmental engineering, technochemistry and others. The new reporting segments have been assembled because they mutually produce various products and services. The yields from the Safety segment are made up of safety technology and related services. The yields from the HEPAC Wholesale segment are based on the wholesale business in the HEPAC field. The Takoma segment yields are composed from the engineering workshop business practised by Takoma Oyj. The yields from the Digital Printing Services segment are mainly made up of the sales in digital printing services. The Mounts segment yields are composed from wholesale operations in construction and fitting mounts. The yields from the Added Value Logistics segment derive from services in metal industry manufacture and logistics. The yields from the Heat Treatment segment are composed from metals-based heat treatment services and the development, manufacture and marketing of machines and equipment required in such heat treatment. The yields from the Spare Parts for Motor Vehicles segment derive from the import, wholesale and retail activities of original spare parts and accessories for motor vehicles. The yields from the Environmental Engineering segment are based on the sale of waste and property maintenance equipment solutions. The yields from the Carpentry Industry segment derive from the manufacture of products for the carpentry industry. The yields in the Supports segment are collected from the import, manufacture and wholesale activities in the HEPAC field. The yields from the Fixtures segment are derived from the sales and services respective to fixture accessories and related products. The yields from the Technochemistry segment are based on the development, manufacture and marketing of industrial chemicals intended for professional use. Parent company and unspecified items are reported in the Other segment. The Group does not have any geographical segment distributions, since business operations are practised only minimally abroad. Panostaja's 1 November 2009 - 31 January 2010 quarterly review shall be released on 10 March 2010. In the following Tables, the comparative data in accordance with the new segment distribution on the 1 November 2008 - 31 October 2009 financial period for the quarterly net sales and business result as well as for the segments-based assets, debts and personnel is presented in accordance with the 31 October 2009 financial statements. realised in October 2009. Sale of properties affected the business profit of the segments as follows: HEPAC Wholesale MEUR 1.4, Added Value Logistics MEUR 0.7, Carpentry Industry MEUR 0.1, Supports MEUR 0.8, Fixtures MEUR 0.1 and Other MEUR 1.1.
