YIT CAPITAL MARKETS DAY ON SEPTEMBER 24, 2009                                   

On Thursday, September 24, 2009 YIT will hold a Capital Markets Day for         
investors and analysts in Helsinki. The focus of the event will be on YIT's     
strategy for 2010-2012.                                                         

Webcast and conference call                                                     

President and CEO Juhani Pitkäkoski's presentation can be viewed as a real-time

(EEST).
