DISCLOSURE OF CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP OF MARIMEKKO CORPORATION PURSUANT TO THE      
SECURITIES MARKETS ACT, CHAPTER 2, PARAGRAPH 10                                 

Pursuant to the Securities Markets Act, Chapter 2, Paragraph 10, Marimekko      
Corporation announces that it has been informed today that Grantham, Mayo, Van  
Otterloo & Co LLC's share of Marimekko Corporation's share capital and voting   
rights has decreased to 4.75 per cent as a result of a transaction made on 27   
June 2007.                                                                      

According to the disclosure, Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co LLC's share of   
Marimekko Corporation's share capital and voting rights after the transaction is
the following:
