CHANGE IN FINNAIR'S HOLDING OF OWN SHARES

A total of 4 682 Finnair's shares have been returned free of consideration to
the company. The transaction is related to the company's Share Bonus Scheme
2007-2009. The shares were conveyed in connection with the reward payment of
earning period 2007 and are now returned because the preconditions of the
period of employment of the holders were not met. 

After these returns, the company holds a total of 392,111 own shares.
