threshold of 1/20 of the number of share and voting rights.

Additional information:

The Board of Directors of Citycon Oyj resolved in its meeting on 13 July 2011
to issue up to 33,000,000 new shares based upon the authorisation granted by
the Annual General Meeting of Citycon on 13 March 2007, and approved the final
terms and conditions of the share offering. The Company's Board of Directors
approved on 13 July 2011 the subscriptions for the shares made in accordance
with the terms and conditions of the share offering. 

Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company participated in the share offering
as a result of which Ilmarinen's share of the shares and votes in Citycon
exceeded the threshold of 1/20. When calculating Ilmarinen's share of votes and
shares it has been taken into account the number of Citycon shares following
the registration of the issued 33 million shares in the Trade Register on 18
July 2011.
