Cancellation of the Extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting

The Extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting of Šiaulių bankas AB, which had 
to be held on June 2nd 2009 at 03.00 pm, is cancelled by the resolution of the  
Bank's Board. The negotiations with the investor led to alternative             
possibilities to increase the bank's capital sufficient to both parties,        
however, not through issuing a convertible bond issue, which has stood for the  
reason to summon the meeting.
