Regarding the recall of Eglė Čiužaitė from the Board of “Lietuvos energijos gamyba”, AB

Elektrėnai, Lithuania, 2015-12-02 15:01 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- “Lietuvos
energijos gamyba”, AB (business ID 302648707, registered office address
Elektrinės g. 21, Elektrėnai (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’))
informs that on 2 December 2015 the Supervisory Board of the Company decided to
recall Ms. Eglė Čiužaitė from the post of a member of the Company’s Board from
the date of the decision. 

As it was stated in a notification on the material event of 28 July 2015, the
Supervisory Board of “Lietuvos energija”, UAB, which owns 96.13 per cent of the
Company’s shares, approved the nomination of the Company’s Board member Ms.
Čiužaitė to the Board of the new company AB “Energijos skirstymo operatorius”
(ESO). ESO will continue in operation after the pending reorganization of AB
LESTO and AB “Lietuvos dujos”. 

Four people remain to serve on the Company’s Board: Mr. Juozas Bartlingas
(Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Company), Mr. Darius
Kucinas (Director of Production Department, responsible for electricity and
heat production management), Mr. Adomas Birulis (Director of Business
Development Department, responsible for supervision of the Company’s strategy
and development projects) and Mr. Vidmantas Salietis (director of the Wholesale
Electricity Trade Department, responsible for the Company's trade activities on
the electricity market). 

Ms. Čiužaitė will remain in the position of the Director of Finance and
Administration Department until the election of a new member of the Company’s
Board, who will be responsible for financial management and will serve as a
Director of Finance and Administration Department. The Company will publicly
announce of any subsequent actions and decisions in accordance with the laws.
