EPEC OY, PONSSE'S TECHNOLOGY COMPANY, SUMMONS ITS PERSONNEL FOR EMPLOYEE CO-OPERATION NEGOTIATIONS

EPEC OY, PONSSE'S TECHNOLOGY COMPANY, SUMMONS ITS PERSONNEL FOR EMPLOYEE
CO-OPERATION NEGOTIATIONS 

Due to weakened demand and future prospects for the control systems of mobile
machines, Epec Oy has given summons for employee co-operation negotiations. The
negotiations will handle the possible adjustment of the company's operations to
the current market situation with temporary lay-offs. 

The negotiations cover all personnel groups and all operations, excluding
sales, comprising altogether a maximum of 31 production workers and 78 office
employees. The negotiations start on 9 February 2009. 

Epec Oy, located in Seinäjoki, is a technology company owned solely by Ponsse
Plc. Epec Oy designs and manufactures intelligent machine control systems for
mobile machines and commercial vehicles used in challenging environments. The
company has approximately 125 employees.
