Nordic Aluminium - Company Announcement

NOTIFICATION ACCORDING TO CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10 OF THE FINNISH SECURITIES MARKET ACT

Nordic Aluminium Plc (Nordic Aluminium) has gained knowledge of the disclosure
notification of Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company (“Varma”) pursuant to
Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act. In accordance with
the disclosure notification, the ownership of Varma in Nordic Aluminium will
decrease from six per cent to zero per cent. 



Hereby, the ownership of Varma in Nordic Aluminium is on 10th of August 2012
290 000 shares, which is 6 per cent of all shares and attached voting rights in
Nordic Aluminium (over 5 %). 



Pursuant to Chapter 2, Section 10 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act we
hereby notify the following information: 



1. Name of the issuer

Nordic Aluminium Plc (Business ID 0855490-5)



2. Full name of shareholder

Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company (Business ID 0533297-9)



3. Threshold, that is exceeded

1/20 i.e. 5 % of the amount of shares and votes



4. Reason for the notification

Acceptance of Takeover Bid



5. Date on which the ownership of shares has changed

Pursuant to the acceptance of the Takeover Bid the ownership will change when
the Takeover Bid has been executed 



6. Ownership share of shares and voting rights in the company

The share of ownership of Varma in Nordic Aluminium`s shares and attached
voting rights is 290 000 shares which is 6 per cent of all shares and attached
voting rights in Nordic Aluminium. 



After the transaction of shares the total number of shares and votes in Nordic
Aluminium Plc owned by Varma is 0 %.
