Benefon Oyj - Major shareholder announcements

FLAGGING NOTICE ACCORDING TO CHAPTER 2 SECTION 10 OF SECURITIES ACT

Benefon Oyj announces the following changes in the Company's ownership as       
according to Chapter 2 Section 9 of Finnish Securities Act that have taken place
and brought to its attention.                                                   

Luben Limited's holding of the Company's registered share capital and voting    
rights has risen above three twentieths (3/20) to 15.68%.                       

Consequently, holding of MMA Investment Limited and Luben Limited, that are     
under common control, of registered share capital and voting rights has risen   
above one fifth (1/5) to 20.69%.                                                

Octagon Solution Limited's holding of the Company's registered share capital and
voting rights has decreased below one twentieth (1/20) to 1.90%.                

Nobolles Investment Limited´s holding of the Company's registered share capital 
and voting rights has risen above one twentieth (1/20) to 7.49%.                

Consequently, holding of Octagon Solution Limited, Octagon Situations Limited   
and Nobolles Investment Limited, that are under common control, of registered   
share capital and voting rights has decreased below three twentieths (3/20) to  
13.06%.                                                                         

GeoHolding B.V.´s holding of the Company's registered share capital and voting  
rights has risen above one twentieth (1/20) to 6.21%. If the conditions set     
forth in the share exchange agreement shall be met the holding of the company's 
registered share capital by GeoHolding B.V. may rise up to 8.64%.               

The above mentioned changes relate to recent issuances of new investment series 
shares in connection with the Company's financing arrangements, set-off issue   
and to internal share transfers among the investor group lead by Octagon        
Solutions Limited and to issuance of new investment series shares in connection 
with GeoSolutions acquisition realised as share exchange.                       

In addition, the Company informs that, if the equity financing published on     
August 22, 2007 shall be executed in whole, it shall have a material impact on  
the shareholding of the company. The company shall then make the flagging notice
according to chapter 2 section 10 of securities act.                            

The amount of registered shares is 338.273.968 at the moment of flagging. The   
amount of voting rights correspond the amount of outstanding shares.
