Kesko's sales increased abroad, in Finland price decline continued

Kesko Group's sales in October 2015 totalled €748.9 million. In comparable terms
excluding Anttila, sales decreased by 1.6% in local currencies."In October, Kesko's sales increased outside Finland. The sales performance in
Finland was impacted by one delivery day less than in the previous year. In the
grocery trade, prices continued to decline further in October," says Kesko's
President and CEO Mikko Helander.

In Kesko's grocery trade, sales in October were €404.3 million, a decrease of
2.2% in local currencies. There was one delivery day less than in the previous
year.

In the home improvement and speciality goods trade, sales in October were €278.3
million, and comparable sales excluding Anttila decreased by 0.9% in local
currencies. In Finland, comparable sales were down by 2.2%. Outside Finland,
comparable sales grew by 0.3% in local currencies. In the building and home
improvement trade, sales decreased by 0.6% in local currencies.

In the car trade, sales in October were €64.8 million, up 0.2% from the previous
year.

In October 2015, the number of selling days in Kesko's wholesale in Finland was
22, which was one less than in the previous year. The total number of selling
days in January-October was one less than in the previous year. The number of
retail selling days in October was 30, which was one less than in the previous
year. The total number of retail selling days in January-October was one less
than in the previous year.
