YIT appoints Juha Kostiainen as Senior Vice President of Urban Development and Corporate Relations

YIT APPOINTS JUHA KOSTIAINEN AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND
CORPORATE RELATIONS 

YIT Group has appointed Juha Kostiainen, 47, as Senior Vice President, Urban
Development and Corporate Relations. The position has a strong focus on the
development of urban environments and residential construction. Kostiainen will
also be responsible for stakeholder relations at YIT. 

Kostiainen holds a Master of Science in Engineering and a Doctor of
Administrative Sciences. He serves as adjunct professor of strategic urban
development at the University of Tampere. Kostiainen held various managerial
positions at YIT between 2001 and 2008. Since 2008, he has worked for the
Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra. 

Kostiainen will assume his duties at YIT on November 1, 2012. He will join the
Group Management Board and report to Juhani Pitkäkoski, President and CEO of
YIT Group.
