TOM TARKKINEN APPOINTED MANAGING DIRECTOR OF JAPROTEK OY AB, A SUBSIDIARY OF
VAAHTO GROUP 

Engineer Tom Tarkkinen has been appointed Managing Director of Japrotek Oy Ab,
a subsidiary of Vaahto Group, starting from February 1, 2009 when former
Managing Director Torsten Lassfolk will retire. At his duty Tom Tarkkinen
reports to Antti Vaahto, CEO of Vaahto Group. 

Tom Tarkkinen has been employed by Japrotek Oy Ab since 1989, lately as
Production Manager since 2005. 

Japrotek Oy Ab is part of Vaahto Group, which is a globally operating high
technology company serving process industry in the fields of pulp and paper
machinery and process machinery.
