Management Board Approves Electricity Transmission Prices and their Application Procedure and Submits it to NCCPE

The Management Board of Lietuvos Energija AB, with regard to the 2010 price cap
of electricity transmission service set by National Control Commission for
Prices and Energy (NCCPE), modified and approved electricity transmission
prices and their application procedure and submitted it to NCCPE for
publication.  Based on this procedure, electricity transmission service price
in 2010 will not be broken down to electricity and capacity components. 
Accordingly are altered prices for transmission system service of transmission
system operator (VAT not included): 
1. the price for the transmission service of the transmission system operator -
LTC/kWh 2.663, when equipment ownership borderline is within 330 - 110 kV
voltage grid; 4,527  ct/kWh, when the equipment ownership borderline is within
35-6 kV voltage grid; 
2. the price for the transmission service of the transmission system operator
for the self-generated and received directly from the generators, except for
those using renewable sources and waste resources - LTC/kWh 1.330; 

The weighted tariff average is in accordance with price caps of LTC/kWh 2.67
set by NCCPE methodology. The price of capacity reservation services and public
interest obligations for 2010 has not been confirmed. After NCCPE sets the
price of public service obligation for 2010 as well as price of auxiliary
services (reserve capacity), NCCPE will receive an adjustment of this
procedure.
