Utenos Trikotazas AB - Notification on material event

AB Utenos trikotazas operating results of the 3rd quarter and of 9 months of the year 2009.

AB Utenos trikotazas sales for the third quarter of 2009 amounted to LTL 13.1
million (EUR 3.8 million), the total sales for the 9 months of 2009 reached LTL
46.9 million (EUR 13.6 million), and accordingly was by 32% and 35% less than
during the same periods in 2008. The Consolidated Group sales for the third
quarter of 2009 amounted to LTL 15.1 million (EUR 4.4 million), the total sales
for the 9 months reached LTL 54.5 million (EUR 15.8 million) and accordingly
was by 35% and 34% less than during the same periods in 2008.
According to the General Director of AB Utenos trikotazas, Mr. Nerijus Vilunas:
„Despite the lower sales, the company results are much better compared to the
year of 2008, due to more efficient management and cost control. The third
quarter sales were lower compared to the previous quarters, however, this
quarter showed the signs of stabilization in the sales level. According to the
increased clients' activity and the flow of orders, we expect improved sales
results in the fourth quarter compared to the third quarter.” 
The Consolidated Group operating results will be published by 30th of November,
2009.
