ANNOUNCEMENT OF OWNERSHIP PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 2 SECTION 10 OF THE SECURITIES    

PKC Group Oyj has received today a notification with reference to Chapter 2,    
paragraph 9 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act.                              

The share of votes and share capital in PKC Group Oyj hold by Jarmo J. Takanen  
has exceeded the limit of 5% on 23 October 2008. Following the transaction Jorma
J. Takanen owns 990,583 PKC Group Oyj shares, which means 5.57% share of votes. 

The amount of shares of PKC Group Oyj on October 23, 2008 totalled in           
17,781,522. The company has one series of shares.
