In its petition of appeal Ilmarinen has appealed against the decision of Finnlines' Annual General Meeting held on 20 May 2008 concerning minimum dividend and claimed that the resolution be amended so that the minimum dividend paid should have been 17,181,000 euros instead of 180,216.39 euros. The Court of Appeal found in its judgment subject to appeal that the decision by Finnlines' Annual General Meeting had not been in breach of the provisions of the Finnish Companies Act relating to minimum dividend.
