Islandsbanki hf. : Completes covered bond issuance

Íslandsbanki hf. has concluded an auction of covered bonds. The non-indexed
issue ISLA CB 19 was sold today for an amount of ISK 1.0bn at the nominal yield
of 6.59%. The CPI-linked issue ISLA CBI 26 was sold for an amount of ISK 1.38bn
at the real yield of 3.21%.

Total demand amounted to ISK 3.54bn of which 67% of the offers were accepted.
Following the transaction the total size of ISLA CB 19 will be ISK 6.84bn and
the total size of ISLA CBI 26 will be ISK 11.9bn.  The total nominal amount of
outstanding covered bonds issued by Íslandsbanki will amount to ISK 64.23bn
following the transaction.

Trading is expected to commence on 26 May 2016 on Nasdaq Iceland.
