Landsvirkjun - Company Announcement

Landsvirkjun issues a 7 year bond

Landsvirkjun (The National Power Company) has issued a USD 5 million, 7-year
bond. The bond will carry a fixed interest rate of 3.9% with a single payment
of interest and principal at maturity. 

The bond was issued under the Landsvirkjun’s EMTN (Euro Medium Term Note)
program without a guarantee of collection and will be listed on the Luxembourg
Stock Exchange. Citigroup acted as Bookrunner on the transaction. 

The proceeds of the bond will be used for general corporate purposes.
