FIRE IN NORDIC ALUMINIUM'S FACILITIES IN KIRKKONUMMI

NORDIC ALUMINIUM PLC   STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE    JUNE 2, 2007  17.05 PM

A fire which started Saturday June 2, 2007 in Nordic Aluminium's facilities in
Kirkkonummi destroyed the Company's anodizing plant. There were no personnel
injuries, but damages in this production department were severe. Thanks to the
rapid actions of Company's personnel and the fire brigades all other production
departments remained undamaged and fully operative. 

Following the Company's safety plan partners and subcontractors have
immediately been contacted to secure compensating surface treatment capacity.
The present view is that customer deliveries will not suffer except for shorter
delays. 

Nordic Aluminium will give further information on Monday June 4, 2007.
