SACL decided on the validity of the detailed plan of the TEO administrative building

On 19 October 2009, the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania (SACL)
decided to uphold a previous its decision on the validity of the detailed plan
of the TEO administrative building. Also, the court has decided not to suspend
the validity of this plan. 

In August 2008, SACL upheld the decision of a lower instance court that allowed
planning of construction works of the building on Lvovo street, Vilnius.
However, the case was reopened by the SACL judgment in September 2008 and its
final decision was announced this Monday. 

The court's judgment in the case where the decision of the Council of Vilnius
City Municipality regarding the approval of the detailed plan and the
inspection statement of the territory planning document of the Vilnius County
Governor's Administration was appealed is final and not subject to appeal.
Examining the case, the court did not determine any violations of the detailed
plan or its approval procedures. 

During the case examination the construction works of the administrative
building were not carried out.
