Kaarina Ståhlberg, LL.M. (Helsinki University), LL.M. (Columbia University, New
York), 46, has been appointed General Counsel and member of Fortum
Corporation's Management Team as of 1 September 2013. She will report to the
President and CEO. 

Kaarina Ståhlberg has been working for Nokia for 13 years in various managerial
and legal positions, most recently as Assistant General Counsel. In addition,
she has several years' experience in private practice, most recently at the law
firm White & Case. 

As of 1 September 2013, Fortum's long-term General Counsel Harri Pynnä assumes
a new role in Fortum's Distribution business area. He is appointed member of
the Distribution Management Team and will be responsible for developing company
functions. "I would like to thank Harri Pynnä for his long and significant contribution to
Fortum's development as the General Counsel ranging back to the establishment
of the company. At the same time, I wish Kaarina Ståhlberg warmly welcome to
