Innofactor Oyj - Company Announcement

HUS selects Innofactor as the provider of its Microsoft Azure services

Innofactor Plc Stock Exchange Release December 8, 2014, at 16:30 Finnish time

In a tendering process governed by a framework agreement, the Hospital District
of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) has selected Innofactor as the provider for
transferring application and infrastructure solutions into cloud services and
as the provider of continuous services related to the cloud services. The whole
includes transferring the existing On-Premises applications and infrastructure
solutions of HUS into a Microsoft Azure operating services environment. In
addition to this, the delivery includes development and maintenance of
architecture, control and management of the cloud services, and small scale
development. Project deliveries and services related to the cloud transfer are
planned to be delivered in stages during 2014-2017.

In its invitation to tender, HUS estimated that the value of the delivery would
be about EUR 600,000 during the contract period, which is also the maximum
value of the procurement decision. However, the final value of the deal during
the contract period cannot be stated for certain at this point.

“The deal is strategically important for Innofactor and significantly
strengthens Innofactor's position as a forerunner in delivering Microsoft Azure
cloud services in Finland. Microsoft Azure is an important area of growth for
Innofactor and the company has invested heavily in knowhow related to it. In
November 2014, Microsoft granted Innofactor, as the first company in Finland,
the Cloud Platform Gold competence related to Azure,” says Innofactor's CEO
Sami Ensio.

HUS is a Joint Authority formed by 24 municipalities. Its task is to offer
member municipalities and their residents the necessary services for
specialized medical care and care of the mentally disabled. The Helsinki
University Central Hospital (HUCH), which operates as part of HUS, is also
responsible for providing care for patients with rare illnesses or otherwise
requiring specialized care in its responsibility area, which is larger than the
hospital district, and in some cases, in the entire country. The responsibility
area of HUCH includes, in addition to the Hospital District of Uusimaa, the
South Karelia Social and Health Care District (Eksote) and the Kymenlaakso
Social and Health Services (Carea).
