RAUTE PLANS TO CONCENTRATE PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES TO THE NASTOLA PLANT

Raute Corporation continues boosting its operations in order to improve the
profitability due to the continued difficult market situation and plans to

in Nastola. Raute will initiate six weeks continuing negotiations in compliance
with the Act on Co-operation with the workers of the Jyväskylä production unit.
The negotiations concern 14 persons. During the negotiations it will be cleared
up if the persons subject to the potential adaptation measures have
re-employment possibilities in other Raute's units and other means to support
their re-employment.

adequate for the time being, and the planning operations continue as before at
the Jyväskylä unit.
