Sponda acquires shopping centre property in Ylöjärvi for EUR 62 million

Real estate investment company Sponda Plc has purchased the Elovainio shopping
centre that is under construction in Ylöjärvi for EUR 62 million from
Rakennustoimisto Palmberg Oy. Rakennustoimisto Palmberg Oy will be responsible
for building the shopping centre and will arrange financing during
construction, which Sponda will pay once the building is ready. 

The Elovainio shopping centre will be completed in spring 2009 at the
intersection of the Tampere southern bypass with the Vaasa road. The shopping
centre will have about 24,500 square metres of leasable retail premises and
parking for 850 cars. Sponda is purchasing the property fully leased, and the
main tenant will be K-Citymarket.
