BasWare Corporation exceeds 5% 


Notice pursuant to the Finnish Securities Market Act (Section 2:9): The total
number of shares held by the mutual funds and separate accounts managed by
Baillie Giffort, an investment management company, represented 5.02% of BasWare
Corporation's share capital and voting rights on June 14, 2007. This
notification has been given to BasWare Corporation's 
information on August6, 2007. 

Between the above mentioned parties, the shareholdings in BasWare Corporation
are divided as follows: 

- Baillie Gifford Overseas Limited (Reg. no 84807) 356,354 (3.1074%)

- Baillie Gifford & Co 219,857 (1.9171%)

- Total 576,211 (5.0245%)

The share capital of BasWare Corporation is 11,468,124.
