Islandsbanki hf.: Concludes commercial paper offering

Íslandsbanki hf. has today offered 6 and 12 month commercial paper to investors.
Offers  totaling ISK  4,490 million were  received and  offers worth  ISK 1,100
million were accepted.

The  nominal amount sold in the 6-month series was ISK 1,100 million at a 4.32%
simple  rate. Total  offers received  amounted to  ISK 3,870 million at rates of
4.25% - 4.40%.

The  12-month series  received offers  amounting to  ISK 620 million at rates of
4.39% - 4.65%. All offers were declined at this time.
