Stockmann Group's revenue in November 2012

STOCKMANN plc, Company Announcement 12.12.2012 at 15:15 EET

The Stockmann Group's revenue in November was up 3.0 per cent to EUR 168.0
million. 

The Department Store Division's revenue grew by 3.1 per cent. Revenue was up
2.9 per cent in Finland and 3.6 per cent in international operations. The
euro-denominated revenue in Russia increased by 10.6 per cent in the department
stores and by 3.2 per cent in total, when including the Bestseller franchising
stores which will be closed down by the end of 2012. 

The Fashion Chain Division's revenue grew by 2.8 per cent; down 5.4 per cent in
Finland and up 5.0 per cent in international operations. Lindex's
euro-denominated revenue was up 4.9 per cent due to the strengthened Swedish
krona and Norwegian krone. In local currencies revenue was down 2.0 per cent,
though growth continued in Russia and Eastern Europe. Seppälä's revenue was
down 6.9 per cent. Revenue was again up in Estonia but declined in other
markets.
