PKC STARTS CO-DETERMINATION NEGOTIATIONS IN KEMPELE

PKC STARTS CO-DETERMINATION NEGOTIATIONS IN KEMPELE                             

PKC Group Oyj's subsidiary, PKC Wiring Systems Oy, has today issued a proposal  
to commence co-determination negotiations. Co-determination negotiations concern
all personnel of PKC Wiring Systems Oy, and may lead to termination of          
employment relationship of a maximum of 50 persons.                             

Planned measures are continuance for the earlier strategic decision to end      
wiring harnesses production and reduce support functions in Kempele. In         
addition, after last autumn's organisational and functional change, PKC Wiring  
Systems Oy's business has consisted of provision of services to other group     
companies and the demand for these services has decreased further.
