APPOINTMENTS IN YIT GROUP'S MANAGEMENT                                          


Arne Malonaes to head the Building and Industrial Services segment              

Arne Malonaes (52), M.Sc. (Eng.) has been appointed as President of the YIT     
Building and Industrial Services segment. Before this appointment, Malonaes has 
been President of YIT's Norwegian building system company, with responsibility  
for the development of the Group's building system services. Malonaes has been a
member of the Group's Management Board since 2008. He has been employed by YIT  
since 2003.                                                                     


Timo Lehtinen appointed Chief Financial Officer of YIT Group                    

Timo Lehtinen (45), M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer
of YIT Group and member of the Group's Management Board. Lehtinen has worked at 
YIT since 2006 as Senior Vice President, Finance, with the responsibility for   
financial administration of both the Construction Services Finland and          
International Construction Services segments. Before joining YIT, Lehtinen      
served most recently as CFO of Affecto Plc and CFO of Saunalahti Group Oyj.     


Both appointments become effective immediately.                                 


The Group's Management Board consists of Juhani Pitkäkoski, President and CEO of
YIT Corporation; Arne Malonaes, President of the Building and Industrial        
Services segment; Tero Kiviniemi, President of Construction Services Finland    
business segment; Kari Kauniskangas, President of International Construction    
Services business segment and Group's Executive Vice President; Pekka Frantti,  
Head of Industrial Services; Timo Lehtinen, CFO; Sakari Toikkanen, Senior Vice  
President, Business Development; and Antero Saarilahti, Senior Vice President,  
Administration, as the secretary.
