TALENTUM TO REORGANIZE ITS PREMEDIA BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Talentum Oyj, in line with its strategy, is focusing on its core business
activities and will be adopting measures to improve profitability in the
Premedia business area, which has gone through restructuring in recent years
and where Reprostudio & Heku Oy has for several years been rationalizing its
operations to correspond to demand. 

In order to improve the profitability of the Premedia business area at
Talentum, Talentum has today sold Reprostudio & Heku Oy's premedia business
operations to a company under formation and named Reprostudio & Heku Oy, owned
by Otso Group Oy and mr Petri Telaranta. Simultaneously the digital data
management business functions in the various companies will be concentrated
into one unit. The measures will not affect the production of packaging
printing material. 

The non-recurring costs caused to Premedia by the restructuring 
will amount to some EUR 2.0 million and will be booked on the Talentum Group's
financial performance in the second quarter. 

After the measures the annual net sales of Talentum's Premedia business unit
will be about EUR 10 million and the operating profit is expected to be at 10%
level of the net sales. 

The restructuring will have no effect on Talentum's other business areas.

In the first quarter of 2007 the Publishing business and Direct Marketing,
which supports it, accounted for some 70 per cent of Talentum's net sales, TV
Content 18% and Premedia 12%.
