under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Market Act, according to which
Norges Bank's (The Central Bank of Norway) holding in UPM has exceeded 5% on 11
April 2012. 

According to the announcement, the holding of Norges Bank in UPM is 28,430,102
shares, 5.41% of UPM's shares and voting rights.
