Konecranes Plc (ID 0942718-2) has on January 5, 2011, received a disclosure
under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Market Act, according to which the
holding of BlackRock, Inc. (USA Tax ID 32-0174421) in Konecranes has exceeded
10 percent. BlackRock held 6,441,109 shares in Konecranes Plc on January 4,
2011, which is 10.39 percent of Konecranes Plc's shares and votes. 

Konecranes Plc has a total of 62,002,120 shares. The company has only one class
of shares and each share entitles to one vote.
