YIT Corporation is holding an Extraordinary General Meeting today, 6 October    
2008, at 10 am. The meeting will discuss authorising the Board of Directors to  
purchase and dispose the company's own shares. President and CEO Hannu Leinonen 
will present a review of recent events at YIT. No new information will be       
published in the review.
