Apranga APB - Notification on material event

On turnover of Apranga Group in December 2008


The turnover (including VAT) of the leader of retail apparel market in
Lithuania and the Baltic States Apranga Group has made LTL 44.7 million (EUR
12.9 million) in December 2008, or the same amount as it was in December 2007. 

In December 2008 the turnover of Apranga Group in Lithuania grew 7.6%
year-on-year, in Latvia decreased 15.2%, and in Estonia decreased 12.0%. 

The retail turnover (including VAT) of Apranga Group has made LTL 509.2 million
(EUR 147.5 million) in 2008. This was by 16.4% more comparing to 2007, and 0.2%
less than planned. 

In 2008 the turnover of Apranga Group in Lithuania grew 19.0% year-on-year, in
Latvia grew 9.0%, and in Estonia grew 18.7%. 

Currently Apranga Group operates 101 stores in the Baltic States: 71 in
Lithuania, 23 in Latvia, and 7 in Estonia. The Apranga Group opened 21 new
stores and closed 3 stores in 2008. 

Shares of Apranga are listed on Baltic equity list on Vilnius Stock Exchange.
Majority shareholder of Apranga Group is concern MG Baltic.
