HONKARAKENNE HAS RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING NOTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 2, SECTION 9 OF THE FINNISH SECURITIES MARKET ACT:

HONKARAKENNE OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 31 MAY 2010  AT 2.15 p.m.	              


HONKARAKENNE HAS RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING NOTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 2,    
SECTION 9 OF THE FINNISH SECURITIES MARKET ACT: 
Honka Management Oy's share of the total number of shares in Honkarakenne Oyj   
increases above 5% due to an arrangement that, if completed, will lead to       
situation in which the threshold as intended in Chapter 2 Section 9 of the      
Securities Market Act increases above 5%.

2) Basis of notification of a change in shareholding: an arrangement that, if   
completed, will lead to situation in which the threshold as intended in Chapter 
2 Section 9 of the Securities Market Act increases above 5% of the total number 
of shares.  
3) Name of person subject to the notification obligation: Honka Management Oy,  
Business ID 2337129-3  
4) Share of total number of shares and voting rights in the target company:     
Honka Management Oy holds Honkarakenne Oyj shares after the arrangment as       
follows:                                                                        
Number of shares: approximately 272,000 series B shares                         
Share of total number of shares: 5.3%   	                                       
Share of voting rights: 2.5%  
5) The essential content of the arrangement:                                    
The members of the Honkarakenne Oyj Executive Group have established a limited  
company named Honka Management Oy, whose entire share capital they own. The     
intention of Honka Management Oy is to acquire Honkarakenne Oyj series B shares 
partly from the market or from the members of the Executive Group at market     
price, and partly from the Company. Some of the members of the Executive Group  
will finance their capital investments in Honka Management by transferring a    
proportion of Honkarakenne Oyj shares they hold to Honka Management or by       
selling them to the market. The Board of Directors of Honkarakenne Oyj has on 31
May 2010 decided on a share issue directed to Honka Management Oy. The share    
subscription period was 31 May 2010. A total of 220,00 new series B shares were 
issued in the share issue. The Board of Directors decided on the approval of    
subscription on 31 May 2010.   
The basis of the calculation of the new shareholding is the total number of     
shares of Honkarakenne Oyj after the share issue. The maximum number of shares  
after the share issue is 5,168,968 with voting rights of 10,870,792.            


Honkarakenne Oyj has a total of 4,948,968 shares before the share issue and a   
total of 5,168,968 shares after the share issue.
