The Kesko Group sales were up by 10.8% in February

The Kesko Group's sales, excluding VAT, in February 2007 totalled
€659.4 million, an increase of 10.8% over the corresponding period
last year. In January-February, the sales, excluding VAT, were
€1,383.3 million, up 10.7% on the previous year. In January-
February, the sales of foreign operations were €269.0 million,
accounting for 19.4% of the Group's sales.

Kesko Food's sales in February totalled €272.1 million and were up
by 6.7%. The sales to K-food store chains, and the home goods
sales of K-citymarket stores progressed well.

Rautakesko's sales continued their strong growth in February
(+22.3%) and were €162.6 million. Sales in Finland were €66.9
million, up 13.1%. Abroad, sales increased by 29.7%. Sales growth
in the Baltic countries was 37.9% and in Russia 56.2%.

VV-Auto's sales in February were €67.2 million, which is up by
17.1% on last year. In Finland, the number of first registrations
of passenger cars dropped by 9.0% The market share of brands
represented by VV-Auto was 13.3% (14.5%) in February.

Anttila's sales in February were €33.8 million, maintaining the
level of the previous year. The sales trend was significantly
affected by the closing down of the City department store in
Helsinki. The sales of the Kodin Ykkönen department stores for
home goods and interior decoration increased by 8.7%.

Kesko Agro's sales in February were €51.9 million, up 9.4%. Sales
in Finland grew by 8.6% due to an increase in grain and tractor
trade. The sales in the Baltic countries grew by 10.6% thanks to
the grain trade.

Finland, Indoor Group, Musta Pörssi, WellStep, Tähti Optikko
Group, Kauko-Telko and support functions.

Starting from 1 March 2006, VV-Auto's sales figures include the
sales of the new Volkswagen and Audi retail outlets acquired.

Change, % indicates the percentage change over the corresponding
period of the previous year.

In February 2007, the number of trading days in Kesko's wholesale
was 20, which was the same as in February 2006. The total number
of trading days in January-February was one more than in the
previous year.

Kesko publishes advance information about the K-Group's retail
sales quarterly, in connection with the interim financial reports.
