Notice pursuant to Chapter 9, Section 2 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act

Pursuant to Chapter 9, Section 2 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act we
inform that Sampo plc share of Aktia Bank plc's shares has increased to above
5.00% on 20 May 2014. 

Following the transaction 20 May 2014, Sampo plc owns a total of 4,004,684
shares and 4,004,684 voting rights in Aktia Bank plc. Thus Sampo now holds
6.01% of Aktia Bank plc's stocks and 0.90% of voting rights.
