Flagging announcement pursuant to chapter 2, section 10 of the Securities       
Markets Act                                                                   

According to the notification received, the Ponsse Plc shares held by Einari    
Vidgrén, i.e. 13,348,074 shares comprising 47.67 % of votes, will be in the     
ownership and under the control of Einari Vidgrén's estate until the            
distribution of the estate. Ponsse Plc's registered share capital consists of   
28,000,000 shares.                                                              

In the distribution of the estate, the shares held and controlled by Einari     
Vidgrén's estate will be divided equally between Einari Vidgrén's four direct   
heirs, of whom Janne, Juha and Jarmo Vidgrén are in the service of Ponsse Plc.
